A public profile used to tell anyone under 20 games to come back later, with a bar and nothing else. Now it shows your real record right away: games played, win rate, the time control you actually play, the span of dates, and your named openings. The full style read still waits for 20 games, but everything else doesn't.

Home →Signing in from any page used to drop you on the dashboard no matter where you started, and the resend button on the code screen looked live but silently failed after the first send. Both are fixed: sign in and you land back on the exact page you were reading, and "send another" now actually sends another.
Ask the coach something short, like what your rating is, and it no longer makes you wait as long as it takes to review a whole game; longer questions about your games still get the deeper read. And when an email tells you about a recurring mistake or a tough loss, the link now takes you straight to that game or that exact position, not a general page you have to go hunting through.

Every room is now the same aged paper it always was on your dashboard, and it paints that way from the first frame. Board themes are untouched — pick your squares as before.

The trouble is that mail apps and security filters open links too, before you ever see them — so the link could already be used up by the time you tapped it, and tapping it appeared to do nothing at all. Links now land on a page with a button, and nothing is spent until you press it. The code in the same email is a proper backup again.
Sign in →Phones don't all draw chess symbols the same way, and on some of them both armies came out looking white. Every board in Eloist now draws its own pieces instead of borrowing your phone's, so the two sides read clearly at any size — and they follow whichever board theme you picked.
